§ 16.16.030. Summary procedure.

    In accordance with the alternate summary procedures authorize by Section 3-20-8 NMSA 1978, the city council or planning and zoning commission or planning and zoning director may approve a subdivision as a combined preliminary and final plat in any case where no public purposes would be served by separate steps. Such summary approval shall be given only when one or both of the following conditions exists:

    1.

    The subdivision contains no more than two lots.

    2.

    Re-subdivisions, where the combination or recombination or portions of previously platted lots does not increase the total number of lots.

    B.

    In all cases, the subdivision plat being considered for approval under this summary procedure shall be prepared according to the standards for plans and data for both preliminary and final plats as contained herein.
